FormTap
Privacy Policy
FormTap uses a profile stored on your device to fill web forms. This policy describes the current extension.
Local storage
Profile values, custom fields, learned field mappings, excluded site hostnames, language, theme, and fill-mode preferences are saved in Chrome local extension storage. Temporary panel session tokens use Chrome session storage. FormTap does not provide cloud synchronization.
Access to webpages
Manual mode uses temporary access to the active tab when you invoke the extension. Optional automatic mode requests HTTP and HTTPS site access from Chrome; switching back to Manual removes that optional access. FormTap inspects available form controls and their labels to identify matching profile fields.
Data entered into forms
FormTap does not send profile data to a FormTap server or external AI service. When you fill a field, that value becomes available to the target website. The website may process it through its own scripts before submission. Its privacy policy applies to that processing. FormTap does not initiate form submission.
Analytics and accounts
The current extension has no account requirement, analytics, telemetry, advertising trackers, backend, or remote executable code.
Your controls
You can edit or remove saved values and custom fields, manage learned mappings and site exclusions, and choose Manual or Automatic mode. Undo is available while the current page remains open. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage.
